Lake Eden with Aunt VV.

Pictures can relay a thousand words, right?
Greater understanding.

While still in Utah after our park city adventures we went to stay with Aunt VV and Uncle duck for a week. VV lives right on a mountain side and it was such a treat to go out and hike every morning we were there. But this is not a post about our wonderful adventures on the mountain side. If it were it would be titled something like, Need free therapy? Go for a hike with someone you love. But it's not so it isn't. Got it?

We began our lake adventure by breaking the first rule we saw. NO DOGS ALLOWED. We managed to smuggle VV's Yorkshire dog, Chicka in, no problem. I do have some expertise in the rule breaking department. We spread out our blanket and then took about two hours to fully get into THAT FREEZING WATER. Even though it was the coldest water I've ever ventured into it was a great time. We ate, built sand castles and enjoyed watching Luke be COMPLETELY crazy with the other kids there.
